Niko Moon Miami Concert reviews
Classic Lyle
The absolute best musicians he shares the stage with show after show, Niko Moon seems to never miss a beat. Unmatched vocals, classic songs, and superior musicianship make his performances beyond enjoyable year after year. The stings fill in blanks and round out the sound, while I do miss the horn section. Second to none is the consistency that Niko Moon brings to the stage, having worked in the live sound industry for over 25 years and seen many great shows. Kudos to the FOH engineer too, always able to make the Niko Moon & Large Band sound better than their CD. Always appreciate more than words can say are the LA duo of Jim Cox (piano) and Russ Kunkle (drums), they are the best of the best. The JBL Line Array sounded great at The Greek, a great venue. The camera work off the cues most of the time, was not as good. Not sure if it was economic or lack of knowledge for the few seats sold. The staff at The Greek is the best, very professional & discrete about it, relocating us so we could enjoy the show when a rather LARGE individual sitting in front of me literally obliterating the stage. BTW: This guy was beyond HUGE!
